First VisitAt your first visit to see Hannah, our Bournemouth dentist, we will discuss your dental needs in our consultation area.We know that you will want to discuss your wants and needs and we will take the time to find these out with the help of your smile check. We will discuss your past dental experiences and anything we need to learn from that in relation to your future care. When you are happy that we have discussed all these points, we will then examine your mouth. Click here to view the smile check list. Hannah, our cosmetic dentist, will carry out a careful examination of both your teeth and gums which will include an oral cancer mouth screen, recording any observations for future discussion. At this point, x-rays may be required and these will be taken now, and developed while you wait. Based on the clinical examination and x-ray results together with our previous discussions, we will be able to develop both short and long term treatment plans if appropriate. If the plan is acceptable, we will be able to provide you with a clear, itemised treatment plan and a personal appointment time for treatment to begin.
